Harris Receives $400M Contract Modification AIDEWS Production


Harris (NYSE: HRS) has secured a $400 million fixed-price-incentive-firm contract modification to develop and deliver its Advanced Integrated Defensive Electronic Warfare Suite offerings to foreign military sales clients.

The Defense Department said Friday the Melbourne, Fla.-based firm will provide Electronic Combat International Security Assistance program customers with different countermeasures dispensing systems for AN/ALQ-211 (V)4 and (V)8 AIDEWS users

Harris will also offer relevant support equipment under the follow-up contract.

The company will perform its work in Clifton, N.J.

AIDEWS is a modular electronic warfare system that can be designed to provide integrated radar warning and radio frequency countermeasures and advanced stand-alone radar notifications.
