Patrick Nicolet
Patrick Nicolet, formerly head of the competitiveness program and India operations at Capgemini, has been appointed as group chief technology officer.
Capgemini said Friday Nicolet will oversee technology and innovation efforts as CTO and will continue to serve on the group executive board.
Lanny Cohen, former group chief technology and innovation officer, will serve as chief innovation officer.
Nicolet has managed Capgemini operations in India since its 2015 acquisition of Bridgewater, New Jersey-based information technology services provider IGATE.
He led the integration of delivery, industrialization, procurement and internal information technology functions into a single platform through the company’s competitiveness initiative.
From January 2011 to December 2015, he served as CEO for the infrastructure services business and as executive leader in charge of Latin America operations.
He began his career at the company in 2000 as sales director within its telecom and media business.
