Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) will support weapons certification and electronic warfare analysis efforts for Israel’s F-35 Lightning II aircraft under a $147.9 million modified contract with the U.S. Navy.

The company’s aeronautics business will also obtain modification kits to support the design and development of F-35 systems meant to provide 3F+ fleet capability to the Israeli government, the Defense Department said Friday.

Work will occur through December 2021 at various facilities across the U.S. and in Samlesbury, U.K.

DoD noted that foreign military sales funds will be used to cover the full obligated amount at the time of award.
