Lockheed’s Airborne Surveillance Tech Reaches Final Operational Capability With Finland’s Military

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 13, 2018 — Lockheed Martin‘s (NYSE: LMT) Dragon Shield airborne surveillance platform has secured final operational capability with Finland’s defense forces after a flight test using a modified aircraft to carry the system, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The company said Friday the trial assessed Dragon Shield’s airworthiness and compliance with military and civilian requirements, with the modular and containerized surveillance system designed to accommodate future updates and support roll-on/roll-off missions.
