Giovanna “Gio” Patterson, most recently vice president for Booz Allen Hamilton‘s (NYSE: BAH) health business at the National Institutes of Health, passed away Sunday at the age of 53, GovCon Wire has learned.
She played a key role in the development of the business unit’s analytics growth platform as well as the integration of Aquilent.
Booz Allen Senior Vice President Rob Silverman shared news of Patterson’s passing and noted that CEO Horacio Rozanski honored her during the Booz Allen Excellence Awards ceremony Wednesday.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life at Money & King Funeral Home in Vienna, Virginia, on Saturday, Feb. 3rd, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at Saint Luke Catholic Church in McLean, Virginia, on Sunday, Feb. 4th, at 1:30 p.m.
