When a completed ship sails away from Ingalls Shipbuilding it is always a proud moment for all shipbuilders who played a part in her construction. Portland (LPD 27) Program Manager Mike Pruitt tells us why he is particularly proud and shares his thoughts on watching the ship from start to finish.
