Vencore Labs to Develop Spectrum Monitoring, Usage Mgmt Platforms for DoD


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Dec. 27, 2017 — The research arm of Vencore will work on the design, prototyping and demonstration of technologies that will serve to help the Defense Department monitor radio-frequency spectrum usage under $14.7 million in DoD contracts, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The company said Thursday Vencore Labs received a $7.9 million Comprehensive Spectrum Monitoring System contract to build and deploy a spectrum recording and visualization tool for DoD training ranges, as well as a $6.8 million Spectrum Usage Measurement System contract to develop a system that will measure multi-band RF spectrum use.
