Alleace Gibbs

Alleace Gibbs, vice president of communications at Northrop Grumman’s (NYSE: NOC) technology services sector, has been named VP of communications at the defense contractor’s mission systems sector in a move that takes effect Jan. 1.

Gibbs will report to Lisa Davis, corporate VP of communications, and oversee the development and execution of communications programs in her new unit, Northrop said Wednesday.

She previously served as director of employee communications at the firm’s former electronic systems sector.

Yolanda Murphy

Yolanda Murphy, director of enterprise communications for Northrop’s aerospace systems sector, will succeed Gibbs as VP of communications for the technology services unit in January.

Murphy will also report to Davis and join the company’s communications council.

Her career at Northrop includes time as communications director for mission systems sector’s airborne command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance and space ISR systems division and manager of communications and public relations at former ES sector’s advanced concepts and technologies division.
