Future Siemens Hub to Work on IoT, Cloud Apps for Building Technologies


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 28, 2017 — Siemens will open a research and development hub in Chicago next month that will be serve to support work on internet of things and cloud computing applications for the company’s control products and systems technologies, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The company said Tuesday it plans to invest approximately $20 million per year for the Siemens Building Technologies CPS Software House to help advance efforts to build applications that support the Desigo CC building management and System One automation platforms.
