NTT Data Lands $82M Contract Extension for Navy Submarine Lifecycle Mgmt Support; Tim Conway Comments

Tim Conway

An NTT Data division has received a potential two-year, $82 million contract extension from the U.S. Navy to continue to provide lifecycle management and acquisition support for the service branch’s submarine fleet.

The Naval Sea Systems Command awarded the extension to NTT Data Services as an option to the previously awarded Enterprise Wide Contractor Support Services contract, the company said Monday.

The company will continue to deliver support services to NAVSEA’s team submarine across logistics, engineering, programmatic, financial management, business and technical areas.

Tim Conway, public sector president at NTT Data and an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 for 2017, said the company is honored with the contract extension that seeks to reflect NTT Data’s partnership with the Navy for three decades and commitment to support NAVSEA’s mission.

NAVSEA oversees the design, engineering, construction and maintenance of naval ships, submarines and combat systems.
