L3 Wescam to Supply EO/IR Imaging Turrets to Navy


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 25, 2017 — An L3 Technologies (NYSE: LLL) subsidiary will provide electro-optical and infrared imaging turrets to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane division under a potential $49 million contract from the U.S. Navy, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

The company said Wednesday L3 Wescam will supply the MX-10MS turrets that NSWC Crane will utilize to incorporate low-visibility and nighttime navigation, reconnaissance and surveillance capabilities to the Military Sealift Command Electro-Optical System for naval situational awareness.
