Johns Hopkins APL, DHS Pursue Commercial Availability of Malware Analysis Tool


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 4, 2017 — Researchers from Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory will work with the Department of Homeland Security to commercialize a malware analysis software under a new startup company, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

DHS said Wednesday Johns Hopkins APL spun off the REnigma technology through the agency’s Transition to Practice program to offer the tool in the commercial market under the startup called Deterministic Security.
