L3 to Support Army ROVER Tech Under Contracts Worth $63M Combined


TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 5, 2017 — L3 Technologies (NYSE: LLL) has secured $63.5 million in contracts from the U.S. Army to supply hardware and provide engineering technical services in support of Remotely Operated Video Enhanced Receiver technology, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The Defense Department said Friday the company will perform contract work at its facility in Salt Lake City, Utah, through June 29, 2021.

ROVER is a device that works to enable ground troops to view images from manned or unmanned aircraft sensors on a laptop computer.
