BAE Systems Develops Aircraft Threat Warning System for Army


TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 26, 2017 — BAE Systems has launched a new modular tool that works to help the aircrew of U.S. Army rotary- and fixed-wing aircraft detect, evaluate and counter potential threats, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The company said Monday the 3-Dimensional Advanced Warning System features a layered countermeasure defense capability that includes flare and directed infrared countermeasures as well as a threat tracking function in efforts to boost aircraft survivability.
