AWS Tech to Support NASA Live-Stream Video From Space


TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 13, 2017 — Amazon Web Services (Nasdaq: AMZN) will support a NASA live-stream event on April 26 using its Elemental encoding software and CloudFront content delivery network, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

Variety reported Tuesday the 4K Ultra HD video feed from space will feature a panel discussion between NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson at the International Space Station and AWS executives Sam Blackman and Khawaja Shams as well as other participants.
