Vencore Labs Secures DARPA Contracts for R&D on DDoS


TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 27, 2017 — Vencore‘s research division will conduct research focused on cyber defenses against distributed denial-of-service attacks in support of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency under contracts worth $17.7 million combined, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The company said Thursday the contracts to Vencore Labs cover research and development work as part of DARPA’s efforts to address threats to critical services under the Extreme DDoS Defense program.
