Executive Mosaic, Tysons Corner, VA March 27, 2017 — Roger Krone, CEO of Leidos Holdings, has been chosen for this year’s Executive Mosaic Wash100 for his leadership in mergers and integration.
The Wash100 is the premier group of private and public sector executives selected by Executive Mosaic’s organizational and editorial leadership as the most influential voices in the GovCon sector and recognized for their leadership and impact in shaping the industry.
Krone is a four-time Wash100 inductee and has served as Leidos CEO since July 2014.
The company merged with Lockheed Martin‘s former information systems and global solutions business in August 2016 which has doubled Leidos’ annual projected revenue to $10 billion and workforce size to nearly 33,000.
“We were able to put some fairly detailed plans in place so that the day after closing, we were able to hit the ground running and that’s really given us a fast start starting on August 17 to achieve our integration objectives,” Krone said in a call with investors in November.
Leidos anticipated $350 million in cost synergies through 2019 and met its 2016 savings goal of $25 million post-merger with the help of an integration management office formed with Lockheed.
