Lockheed Martin Eyes Belgium, Spain & Switzerland as Potential F-35 Buyers


TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 7, 2017 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) is in talks with Belgium, Spain and Switzerland for the countries’ potential purchase of F-35 fighter aircraft, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

Defense World reported Friday Jeff Babione, executive vice president and general manager of Lockheed’s F-35 program, told reporters at the Avalon Airshow that the company has seen interest from other foreign countries about adding F-35 to their existing fleet.
