Executive Mosaic, Tysons Corner, VA March 15, 2017 — Joe Ayers, vice president and general manager for the federal enterprise group at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, has been named to this year’s Executive Mosaic Wash100 for his leadership in systems integration and data storage.
The Wash100 is the premier group of private and public sector executives selected by Executive Mosaic’s organizational and editorial leadership as the most influential voices in the GovCon sector and recognized for their leadership and impact in shaping the industry.
Ayers is responsible for HPE’s work to deliver cloud, technology and related consulting services to partners in the U.S. public sector.
He told ExecutiveBiz in July 2016 that the upcoming merger of HPE’s enterprise services business into Computer Sciences Corp. to create a new $26 billion global technology services company will not impact the enterprise group’s support for the systems integration community.
“There will be no change on where we go to market… the combination of CSC and HPE Enterprise Services will create a large IT service company that will be able to compete effectively in a very tough market,” he said.
HPE currently works with World Wide Technology on the $427 million Enterprise Storage Services II contract to provide on-demand data storage support to the Defense Information Systems Agency.
