UK Air Force Considers MBDA Brimstone Missiles for General Atomics’ Certifiable Predator B


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Dec. 16, 2016 — The U.K. air force has expressed plans to equip its General Atomics-built Certifiable Predator B unmanned aircraft systems with MBDA‘s Brimstone precision strike missiles, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

MBDA said Dec. 8 it will partner with the Defense Department, the U.K ministry of defense and General Atomics’ aeronautical systems subsidiary to potentially install the missile into the UAS and perform trials and firing tests under the U.K.’s Protector Remotely Piloted Air System program.
