Rebecca Cowen-Hirsch Recommends Adoption of Commercial Ka-Band Network to Support VIP Operations

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 8, 2016 — Rebecca Cowen-Hirsch, a senior vice president at Inmarsat, has stated that the adoption of Ka-band satellite communications services could help address the communication requirements of unified combatant commanders and other government officials, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The company’s Global Xpress commercial ka-band network is designed to allow users to utilize commercial satcoms and integrate with military satcoms during in-route operations, Cowen-Hirsch wrote in a blog post published Thursday.
