Honeywell, Inmarsat Partner to Provide Military Satellite Communication Service


tablet-soldier-c4isr-272x270TYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 1, 2016 — Inmarsat and Honeywell (NYSE: HON) have entered into a partnership in an effort to provide satellite communication services that will work to connect military users across the world, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

Honeywell said Monday the partnership aims to deliver high-speed, high-bandwidth connectivity for military users, as well as support situational awareness, safety and communications for warfighters.

The companies will integrate Inmarsat’s Global Xpress satcom-as-a-service in-flight broadband service with Honeywell’s JetWave satellite communications hardware.
