TYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 9, 2016 — The National Cancer Institute has awarded Harris (NYSE: HRS) a five-year, $43 million contract to extend the latter’s data management support for the center’s intramural clinical trials program, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
Harris said Monday it will provide clinical data management, quality assurance, clinical audit, systems update and clinical trials safety and compliance monitoring services in support of NCI’s cancer research center.
Carl D’Alessandro, Â president of Harris’ critical networks unit, said the company has delivered clinical data management services in line with federal regulations to NCI for the past 35 years.
