Lockheed Awards Subcontract to Vencore Labs for DARPA RF Mapping Program Support

communication towerTYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 23, 2016 — Vencore‘s research arm will build a radio-frequency mapping software under a $5 million subcontract from Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) for support on the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency‘s Advanced Radio Frequency Mapping program, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

Vencore Labs will help Lockheed develop new platforms for the Defense Department to track RF spectrum usage as part of the third phase of the RadioMap program, Vencore said Wednesday.
