TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 15, 2016 — The Defense Information Systems Agency has issued a Security Technical Implementation Guide for VMware‘s (NYSE: VMW) NSX software-defined networking system to validate its compliance with Defense Department cybersecurity policies, standards, architectures, security controls and validation procedures, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The company said Monday the STIG will help provide technical security policies, requirements and implementation details for security concept installations to the NSX.
