General Dynamics to Supply HF Comms Link for Navy Digital Modular Radios

general dynamics logoTYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 8, 2016 — General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) will provide the high-frequency, third-generation Automatic Link Establishment system to support the U.S. Navy‘s AN/USC-61(C) digital modular radios under a new contract modification, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The company said Thursday the high-frequency communications capability works to reduce static and background noise, increase transmission rates and supplement satellite communications.
