General Atomics Tests Missile Tracking Function on Predator B


PredatorTYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 17, 2016 — General Atomics has conducted a ballistic missile tracking test using a Predator B/MQ-9 Reaper remotely piloted aircraft equipped with Raytheon‘s (NYSE: RTN) Multi-spectral Targeting Systems-B electro-optical infrared turret system, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The test was held during the U.S. Navy‘s biennial Pacific Dragon maritime exercise in Hawaii with the Japanese and South Korean naval forces, General Atomics said Monday.
