Johns Hopkins APL Scientist Earns NASA Distinguished Public Service Medal

award-stock-photoTYSONS CORNER, VA, July 7, 2016 — A scientist at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory has received NASA‘s Distinguished Public Service Medal for his work to advance space exploration programs, GovCon Executive reported Wednesday.

Tom Krimigis has contributed to the Voyager, Cassini Saturn Orbiter,  New Frontiers and Discovery missions, Johns Hopkins APL said Friday.
