Deloitte: US Aerospace & Defense Exports Grew Almost 60% Over 5 Years

market analysisTYSONS CORNER, VA, April 15, 2016 — A report from Deloitte indicates that exports in the U.S. aerospace and defense sector increased by 58.9 percent over the past five years to reach $143.3 billion in 2015, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

The company said Wednesday the A&D industry in the U.S. exported the most to China, the U.K. and France in the past year, with 9.5 percent of all U.S. exports in 2015 coming from A&D and 33 percent of global defense exports coming from the U.S.
