Navy Taps Seaward Marine Services for $258M SUPSALV Support IDIQ


Seaward Marine ServicesSeaward Marine Services will provide support services for the U.S. Navy’s office of the director of ocean engineering, supervisor of salvage and diving under a potential one-year, $257.9 million contract.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed-price contract covers underwater hull cleaning and related work on the service branch’s ships and other vessels, the Defense Department said Thursday.

The contractor will perform work in the Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean and the European, Arabian Peninsula and African waters through January 2017.

SUPSALV performs contracting, in-water ship repair, salvage, diving safety, towing and equipment procurement and maintenance functions as part of the Naval Sea Systems Command.
