Amazon Web Services Offers Tools for Analysis of Weather Radar Data on Cloud


CloudTYSONS CORNER, VA, January 25, 2016 — Amazon Web Services (Nasdaq: AMZN) has offered tools that work to support analysis of Next Generation Weather Radar data on the Amazon Simple Storage Service cloud platform, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The company said Jan. 6 WeatherPipe and the Amazon Simple Notification Service aim to accelerate product development for weather forecasting and other scientific programs through support for archive analysis and event-based processing.
