Siemens’ Federal Arm Lands $200M Army Building Automation Systems Contract

Siemens logoA subsidiary of global industrial conglomerate Siemens has received a $200 million contract to update the U.S. Army‘s building automation systems that use the Desigo for Apogee software product.

Siemens Government Technologies is scheduled to complete the task by Dec. 1, 2020, the Defense Department said Wednesday.

The parent company’s Desigo for Apogee is designed to offer users an integrated view of information to control building automation and security systems.

SGT is the U.S. federal business organization of Siemens.
