Lockheed to Develop Modular Active Protection System Controller Hardware, Software


lockheed martinTYSONS CORNER, VA, December 3, 2015 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) will develop software and hardware for the U.S. Army‘s Modular Active Protection System controller under two contracts, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The company said Tuesday the MAPS Demonstrator Controller Software phase 2 contract covers rapid vehicle countermeasure software, while the MAPS Controller Hardware contract covers MAPS architecture-compliant hardware.
