Lockheed Gets $302M Contract Modification for JASSM Support to Poland, Finland


lockheed martinLockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) will produce, update, sustain, manage and integrate the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile for Poland and Finland under a $302.2 million contract modification from the U.S. Air Force.

The Defense Department said Thursday Lockheed will perform work in Alabama in support of the foreign military sale deal.

The contract runs through June 29, 2019.

Lockheed’s JASSM is a long-range missile designed with a significant standoff range, blast fragmentation warhead and precision routing and guidance functions.
