Intel, Honeywell Develop Internet of Things Tech for Workplace Safety


mobile-tablet-device-mobilityTYSONS CORNER, VA, November 5,  2015 — Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) has partnered with Honeywell (NYSE: HON) to develop an Internet of Things tool that works to help boost productivity and workplace safety among first responders and industrial workers, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

Honeywell said Tuesday the Honeywell Connected Worker system, which the team exhibited at Intel’s IoT Insights Day, includes a mobile hub that collects and analyzes sensor data from wearable devices that use Intel Quark SE microcontrollers.
