BAE Systems Inc. Lands $245M Army Paladin Vehicle Contract


Bae systems logo_ExecutiveBizBAE Systems’ U.S. subsidiary has received a $245, 266, 248 contract modification to produce Paladin howitzers and ammunition vehicles for the U.S. Army.

BAE Systems Inc. will build 30 M109A7 self-propelled howitzers and 30 M992A3 carrier, ammunition and tracked vehicles under the second option in the Paladin integrated management low-rate initial production contract, the Defense Department said Friday.

The company will carry out production in York, Pennsylvania, and Elgin, Oklahoma, through June 29, 2018.
