William Loomis, formerly executive vice president and chief financial officer at financial services firmÂ Centennial, Â has joined Bowie, Md.-based government services contractorÂ MIL Corp.Â as CFO.
MIL said MondayÂ Loomis will oversee financial reporting, treasury, internal controls, business processes, taxation and financial planning and analysis functions.
“Adding Bill to our team was a strategic move, meant to streamline business processes and prepare our financial operations for future growth, ” saidÂ Maurice Long Jr., president andÂ CEO of MIL.
LoomisÂ brings more than 30 years of financial and executive leadership experience to MIL.
Prior to Centennial, heÂ served as CEO and CFO of the intelligent storage management providerÂ FileTek.
He is a certified public accountant and anÂ Elijah Watts Sells National Honorable Mention Award recipient.
