Steven Mahon Joins SAIC as EVP, General Counsel; Tony Moraco Comments

Steven Mahon, formerly senior vice president, general counsel, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary of MTS Systems, has joined Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) as executive VP and general counsel.

Mahon is set to take over the position from Mark Schultz on Nov. 9 and will report to CEO Tony Moraco, SAIC said Tuesday.

“We are pleased to welcome Steve to our executive leadership team and know that his expertise will be a great fit for SAIC, ” Moraco said.

Mahon previously served as VP and assistant general counsel for Alliant Techsystems Inc. before he joined MTS Systems.

He was a practicing lawyer for the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps and the U.S. Army Reserve.
