Inmarsat’s Rebecca Cowen-Hirsch Stresses Government, Industry Role in Space Assets Protection, Defense

TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 16,  2015 — Rebecca Cowen-Hirsch, senior vice president for government strategy and policy at Inmarsat’s U.S. government business unit, has stressed the importance of a joint effort between industry and government in space assets protection and defense, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

“The time has come for responsible leadership within our industry and government to jointly develop strategies and policies to ensure our satellite launches and operations are conducted within a safe orbital environment, ” Cowen-Hirsch wrote in a SpaceNews commentary posted Tuesday.
