TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 9,  2015 — CAE (NYSE: CAE) has been awarded three new defense contracts worth a combined $77 million, which it will credit to the second quarter of its fiscal year, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
CAE said the deals comprise one option year each for training services for KC-135 and T-44C aircrews from the Defense Department, and five years of maintenance and support services work for the German air force Eurofighter planes.
“The delivery of training services such as classroom and simulator instruction as well as upgrades and maintenance support is an important part of our strategy to be a full-service training systems integrator, ” said Gene Colabatistto, CAE group president for defense and security.
