Air Force Research Lab Chooses Cubic to Develop, Demo LVC Training System

CubicLogoTYSONS CORNER, VA, October 2,  2015 — U.S. Air Force has selected Cubic (NYSE: CUB) Global Defense to develop, test and demonstrate a live, virtual and constructive airborne combat training system for the Air Force Research Lab, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

Cubic said Wednesday it will perform work on the award as systems integrator lead of the public-private consortium, Secure LVC Advanced Training Environment Advanced Technology Demonstration.

Defense Department notice posted Sept. 9 said the $16.9 million contract will run for three years.
