TYSONS CORNER, VA September 16, 2015 — Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) and the U.S. Air Force have forged an agreement to work toward a more efficient maintenance schedule for the B-2 aircraft, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
Northrop said the redrawn accord lengthens the time in between end-to-end overhauls to nine yeas, instead of seven, to address fleet operational readiness and depot-level maintenance costs.
