Microsoft Blue Badge Cardholder Support IDIQ Ceiling Increases to $575M

new-microsoft-logo_EMMicrosoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) has secured a $162, 760, 000 contract modification from the Defense Information Systems Agency to continue to provide technical support for the Defense Department related to Blue Badge Cardholder services.

DoD said Friday the award increases the ceiling value of a potential five-year, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from $412, 240, 000 to $575, 000, 000.

The single-award, firm-fixed-price contract has one base year and four option years and covers access rights to the company’s closed-source code.

Microsoft will carry out work in the continental U.S. with a possibility to offer support services at various locations overseas.
