DLA Awards SAIC, Graybar Electric Prime Vendor Bridge Contracts

ArmyLogisticsThe Defense Logistics Agency has awarded $41.2 million in prime vendor bridge contracts to Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) and Graybar Electric Company for maintenance, repair and operations services.

The Defense Department said Thursday SAIC’s $19.3 million contract is for zone 1 of the U.S. Northeast region while Graybar’s $21.9 million contract is for the Northeast’s zone 2.

Both indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts run through Oct. 2, 2015 and will serve military service branches and federal civilian agencies, DoD said.

SAIC will perform contract work in New Jersey, while Graybar will perform work in Missouri.
