Eleven companies have won positions on a five-year,  $196 million U.S. Army contract to repair abandoned government facilities and failed equipment throughout and outside the U.S.Contractors will perform design-build construction work in the District of Columbia,  Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, Japan and South Korea through May 18, 2020, the Defense Department said Wednesday.

- M.A. Mortenson
- MOWA-Barlovento joint venture
- PentaCon
- Perini Management Services
- Weston Solutions
The Army received 83 proposals for the contract via an Internet solicitation.
