US Army Awards $196M Facility Repair Contract to 11 Firms


NavyConstructionEleven companies have won positions on a five-year,  $196 million U.S. Army contract to repair abandoned government facilities and failed equipment throughout and outside the U.S.

Contractors will perform design-build construction work in the District of Columbia,  Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, Japan and South Korea through May 18, 2020, the Defense Department said Wednesday.

Awardees are:

  • Geo-Marine
  • Global Engineering and Construction
  • GRAM
  • GSI Pacific
  • Hensel Phelps Construction
  • M.A. Mortenson
  • MOWA-Barlovento joint venture
  • PentaCon
  • Perini Management Services
  • Weston Solutions

The Army received 83 proposals for the contract via an Internet solicitation.
