Julie Cullivan: FireEye on Adaptive Defense Mode Vs. Revenge Cyber Attacks

FireEye_logo_EM2TYSONS CORNER, VA May 15, 2015 — Executive Mosaic — ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday on FireEye utilizing an adaptive security model as a defense against revenge cyber hacking.

V3.co.uk reported Tuesday that the company has found the framework essential as it continues to more accurately attribute the source of the threat.

“We needed to be worried about creating specific reports about groups’ and countries’ activities they may not want out. This meant our security posture had to be robust and we needed an adaptive defense model, ” Julie Cullivan, lobal chief information officer at FireEye, told V3 in a wide-ranging interview.

Cullivan also talked about the company’s strategy to mitigate talent shortage, increase security awareness and skills training in the workforce, and completely adapt mobility and cloud computing.
