DLA Taps Sikorsky for Potential $480M Spare Parts Contract


SikorskySikorsky Aircraft will provide spare parts for various U.S. Air Force, Army, Marine Corps and Navy weapon systems under a potential five-year, $480 million contract from the Defense Logistics Agency.

The Defense Department said Friday Sikorsky will perform work in Connecticut through June 30, 2020.

The sole-source contract has an option to extend work for another five years and will utilize appropriations under defense working capital funds for fiscal year 2015.

DLA Aviation in Virginia is the contracting activity.
