The cyber incident response offerings under the alliance will  be designed to address risk management and security issues that occur “before and beyond the breach, ” Mike Denning, vice president of global security for Verizon Enterprise Solutions, said Tuesday.

According to Ed Powers, national managing principal, Deloitte cyber risk services, Deloitte & Touche LLP, the collaboration’s key goal is to equip organizations with a full lifecycle response mechanism.

“Organizations today need to quickly contain the damage, but they also need a solutions provider that can help them regain full business strength and improve their capacity to withstand future crises, ” Powers said.
