Les Rose: L-3 NSS Segment Lands ‘1st Major’ NGA Contract


L-3 logoA division of L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) will provide communications infrastructure engineering, operations and sustainment support to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency under a potential five-year, $218 million contract.

The company said Monday the Information Technology Enterprise Managed Services Transport Services contract covers services, equipment, devices and infrastructure that support NGA’s data transmission activities.

L-3 National Security Solutions will work on other projects intended to help NGA with IT mission requirements.

“It’s our first major contract with the NGA, and we look forward to partnering closely with them to help achieve their critical mission, ” said Les Rose,  L-3 NSS president.

Contract work also includes work on wired and wireless local area networks and wide area networks.
