Stu Fleagle: Carpathia to Help Build Hybrid Cloud for NATO’s Seasparrow Program

Fleagle_Stu_smallA team comprising Carpathia and Accelera Solutions has been awarded a $3.1 million contract to provide a hybrid cloud environment for the information technology operations of NATO’s Seasparrow program.

“We worked closely with the Accelera team to deliver a solution that could meet NATO’s extensive purpose-built security controls, continuous monitoring, and complete certification and accreditation requirements, ” Stu Fleagle, vice president of Carpathia Government Solutions, said Thursday.

Carpathia says the team plans to integrate managed services via the IBX Vault data center with Accelera’s Secure Optimized Cloud architecture in order to deliver a hybrid cloud.

The Seasparrow international naval missile defense system intends to use hybrid cloud to support application development and deployment, business continuity, infrastructure-as-a-service and network and systems management.
